  • Açai*
    Açai berries are a nutrient-dense superfood, known for their high antioxidant content, which can help reduce inflammation and cell damage. Their rich fiber and healthy fat content can support digestive health and promote heart health. Additionally, acai berries are also a good source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, calcium, and potassium. Find it in: House Bowl + Power Bowl
  • Activated Charcoal*
    Activated charcoal is known for its detoxifying properties, making it an effective hangover remedy. It works by binding to toxins in the stomach, preventing their absorption and helping to flush them out of the body. However, it's important to note that activated charcoal can decrease the effectiveness of certain medications, so it's best to consult with your doctor or pharmacist before consuming it if you're on medication.   • Almonds*
    Almonds are rich in polyunsaturated and mono and mono unsaturated fats, which are heart healthy, support muscle function and provide slow-release energy that helps to offer long-lasting satiety. They are also high in protein and vitamin E and a good source of minerals such as magnesium, calcium and copper.   • Apples*
    Apples are filled with vitamin C and soluble fibers that luckily don’t disappear during the juicing process. These fibers are important in the metabolic process, improving the muscle power to push waste through the gastrointestinal tract. At CJ, we use both cold pressed Gala and Granny Smith Apples.   • Beets*
    Beets are rich in phenolic acids, providing a great source of antioxidant properties that have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects. They are a vasodilator, great for heart health, and known to improve blood circulation - making beet juice a great pre-workout supplement! Find it in: Beeta Bridge
  • Cacao Nibs*
    Cacao has extremely high antioxidant capacity because of its high polyphenolic continent and is noted for its role in maintaining vascular health. Find it in: Chocolate Matcha Powerball, The Captain Smoothie
  • Camu Camu*
    Camu Camu is a tart berry from a shrub found in South America and is considered to be one of the most powerful sources of vitamin C found in nature - great for boosting that immune system! Find it in: The Powershot
  • Carrots*
    Carrots contain carotenoids and antioxidants that have been found to help with strengthening eyesight, and lowering cholesterol levels. Find it in: Rabbit Hole, Beeta Bridge, California, Tuna Avocado
  • Cayenne Pepper
    The active ingredient in cayenne pepper is the compound capsaicin, which has been used as a treatment for reducing pain; may help boost the metabolism; and has been found to stimulate thermogenesis, the process by which cells convert energy into heat.   • Chia Seeds*
    Chia seeds are one of our favorite ingredients at CJ. They are a rich source of protein and fiber and have a healthy omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acid ratio. Chia seeds are considered a functional food because they provide nutritional benefits and contribute to increased satiety!   • Cucumbers*
    Cucumbers are filled with multiple B vitamins, which are known to have antioxidant properties and help ease the damaging effects of stress and anxiety. The mineral in the cucumber skin is rich in silica, which encourages healthy connective tissues in the body. Find it in: Simple Green, The Grinch, The Lawn, Beeta Bridge
  • Flax Seed*
    At CJ, we grind up our flaxseed into a fine powder before using it. This is because flaxseed in the ground form is easier to digest! . Whole flaxseed may pass through your intestine undigested, which means you won't get all the benefits. Flaxseed's health benefits come from the fact that it's high in fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, as well as phytochemicals called lignans! Find it in: Blueridge Berry or add it to any smoothie!
  • Ginger*
    This flavorful root has been found to have anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory properties, and has been associated with improved cardiovascular health, thanks to its cholesterol and blood pressure regulating properties. Find it in: Dr. J, The Grinch, Beeta Bridge, Rabbit Hole, All Shots or add it to any smoothie for a spicy kick!
  • Kale*
    Kale is rich in vitamins (especially vitamins A, C and K), phenols, carotenoids, glucosinolates, calcium and fiber. Kale has also been found to support the body’s detoxification process. Find it in: Simple Green, The Lawn and Corner Colada
  • Matcha*
    A finely ground powder made from special green tea that has been shade grown (which stresses the plant, bringing increased nutritional content) and then dried, with the stems removed, matcha’s preparation and consumption are at the center of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Matcha has surged in popularity lately, thanks in part to its high antioxidant content. Find it in: Chocolate Matcha Powerball and Matcha Latte
  • Oranges
    Oranges are known to be a powerful natural source of medicine, both providing a rich foundation of vitamin C and antioxidants that support the immune system. Find it in: Dr. J, The Cure, The Firefighter and Freshly Squeezed
  • Pineapple
    The phytochemicals and antioxidants like vitamin C found in pineapples strengthen the immune system and aid in overall health.   • Red Pepper*
    Red peppers are known for their rich antioxidant content and are particularly high in vitamin C. The red color comes from carotenoid pigments including beta carotene, a phytonutrient that can be turned into vitamin A in the body.   • Red Chard*
    Filled with vitamins C, K and especially A, which have shown to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, chard is a powerful antioxidant that supports the immune system and detoxification process as well as protecting the body’s detoxification process. Find it in: The Lawn
  • Spinach*
    It’s our favorite superfood! This leafy green is filled with protein, iron and lots of vitamins and minerals beneficial for improving bone health - Popeye was definitely onto something. Find it in: The Grinch, The Lawn, P.S.W, Corner Colada, Crocodile Pear
  • Turmeric*
    Curcumin, the active constituent in turmeric, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. When combined with fresh black pepper, (like in our Firefighter Shot) turmeric is able to get absorbed more effectively by our bodies! Find it in: Firefighter Shot
